
After the passing of their partner, Steve Moran, Jon and Brent brought in their former civil engineer and current lawyer, David Holloway, and established the current firm.

Jon E. TilestonCivil Trial Attorney Jon E. Tileston is a native of Florida and has practiced law in Florida since 1979. Mr. Tileston’s courtroom experience began as an Assistant Public Defender in the Twentieth Judicial Circuit in Fort Myers. He moved to civil trials as an Assistant County Attorney for Lee County, where he first worked in the field of eminent domain.
Mr. Tileston eventually devoted himself to working as an eminent domain trial attorney, first as a Senior Attorney with the Florida Department of Transportation out of their headquarters in Tallahassee, then in his own practice representing landowners.
Mr. Tileston is a member of the Florida Bar Eminent Domain Committee and the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers. He is a graduate of the University of Florida College of Law.

Brent E. SimonCivil Trial Attorney
Mr. Simon was the Chief Condemning Attorney for Pasco County Florida from 1987 to 1993. Since 1993 Mr. Simon has served in the private sector practicing Eminent Domain Law exclusively. During this time he was a partner in the law firm of Moran, Tileston and Simon, P.A. which was rated number one in the State of Florida by the Ft. Lauderdale Sun Sentinal.

Mr. Holloway has more than ten years of experience designing and permitting roadways and other capital improvement projects in and around the Tampa Bay area.
While working as an expert witness Mr. Holloway recognized the need for an eminent domain attorney with a strong engineering background, and he pursued a law degree at Stetson University College of Law. While attending law school Mr. Holloway interned and clerked at the Florida Department of Transportation, District 7. He obtained his Juris Doctor in May 2000, graduating with honors.
Mr. Holloway now combines his engineering, real estate, and legal experience and training to represent Florida property owners whose property rights are being affected by government actions.
